See others as they may become- Thomas S. Monson Oct 2012
4. Ours is the task to be fitting examples. We are strengthened by the truth that the greatest force in the world today is the power of God at it works through man. If we are on the Lord’s errand, brethren, we are entitled to the Lord’s help. Never forget that truth. That divine help, of course, is predicted upon our worthiness. Each must ask: Are my hands clean? Is my heart pure? Am I a worthy servant of the Lord?
Examples of righteousness- Thomas S. Monson April 2008

Always remember that people are looking to you for leadership and you are influencing the lives of individuals either for good or for bad, which influence will be felt for generations to come.”
Examples of righteousness- Thomas S. Monson April 2008
6. “ The Standard of truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; persecution may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done.”
The Standard of Truth- Joseph Smith’s Statement
7. “ I have often said one of the greatest secrets of missionary work is work! If a missionary works, he will get the spirit; if he gets the spirit, he will teach by the spirit, and if he teaches by the spirit, he will touch the hearts of the people and he will be happy. There will be no homesickness, no worrying about families, for all time and talents and interests are centered on the work of the ministry. Work, Work, Work- there us no satisfactory substitute, especially in missionary work.”
The teachings of Ezra Taft Benson 1988

He is my master and He has chosen me to represent Him, to stand in His place, to say and do what He Himself would say and do if He personally were ministering unto the very people to whom He has sent me. My voice is His voice, and my acts are His acts; my words are His words and my doctrine is His doctrine. My commission is to do what He wants done. To say what He wants said. To be a living modern witness in word and deed of the divinity of His great and marvelous latter- day work. How great is my calling!’
My missionary commission by Elder Bruce R. McConkie
9. “ Surely taking the gospel to every kindred, tongue, and people is the single greatest responsibility we have in mortality…. We have been privileged to be born in these last days, as opposed to some earlier dispensation, to help take the gospel to all the earth”
Walls of the mind Howard W. Hunter June 1994
10. “ Let there be cultivated an awareness in every members heart of his own potential for bringing others to a knowledge of the truth. Let him work at it. Let him pray with great earnestness about it.”
Find the Lambs, Feed the Sheep- Gordon B. Hinckley May 1999
Temple work
1. “ When we keep the temple covenants we have made and when we live righteously…, we have no reason to worry or to feel despondent.
Temple worship: The source of strength and power in times of need- Richard G. Scott April 2009
2. Temples are literally houses of the Lord. They are holy places of worship where individuals make sacred covenants with God. Because making covenants with God is such a solemn responsibility, individuals cannot enter the temple to receive their endowments or be sealed in marriage for eternity until they have fully prepared themselves and been members of the church for at least a year. Throughout history, the Lord has commanded His people to build temples. The Church is working to build temples all over the world to make temple blessings more available for a greater number of Heavenly Fathers children.

3. Temples are places of learning. Their principal purpose is to provide ordinances necessary for the children of God to enable them to return to dwell with Him. Temple ordinances lead to the greatest blessings available through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Everything in the Church- the meetings and activities, the missionary efforts, the lessons taught and the hymns- all lead to the work done in holy temples.

The Doctrine of Temple Work- David E. Sorensen Aug 2002
